Between school work, activities, and just the busyness that seems to be normal pace in today’s modern-day society, too many children today are overwhelmed, anxious and stressed out. Too often they are experiencing these emotions without learning healthy ways to process them.
Introducing yoga and deep breathing techniques to children is a great way to teach them how to effectively manage their emotions and also improve their focus. The foundation of the practice and “coming back to center” is not just for the yoga mat. It can be incorporated into everyday routines and children can be taught this starting at a young age.
I offer a variety of programs and services for children of all ages, and also like to work with educators themselves to help them incorporate yoga techniques and mindfulness in the classroom.
